and . . . no.

Tivoli still problematic for me. As in, too short.

My instinct told me it’d be too short, but I blithely went on. I’ve now frogged to just before the increases and will be adding about an inch to the body part. Then I’ll add a bit at the bottom, too.

I know that it’ll stretch out upon wearing, but I just can’t start out with it that short. I felt all hiked up. What sucks is that I was done. I’d bound off (though kept the yarn attached to the ball). I was ready. Heck, I’d even considered hiding the ends and wearing it tomorrow, unblocked. (So long as no ends dangled out the back, I’d have left ‘em!) But now it’s all balled up. Boo!

Frankly, I think your mistake was in not binding it off at the point it was in the picture in the previous post. Now THAT would have been a hot t-shirt.

Sorry about your frustration. I vaguely recall having to do the same thing (add some space between the decreases and increases). Don’t worry, it’ll be done before you know it!

Bummer. As painful as it is to rip, when you have an FO, and you’re wearing it, and it’s just perfect, you’ll be glad you did it. :) Hang in there!

    Rachel–ha!

And thanks for the sympathy. I’m disappointed, since I was almost done, but I don’t really mind taking things out and starting over multiple times. I want to get it right!

Oooh, that bites! But I’m sure that you’ll be able to fix it soon. Can’t wait to see it again!
