I can’t believe that some of those FOs up there are from 2007. I feel as though they were from much longer ago than that. 2007 must have been a long-ass year. Weird. Usually I feel the opposite.

I also have busted out my sewing machine recently! The fact that you have done the same disappoints me somewhat, because you are now certain to show me up terribly. And yes, everything is a competition.

I wonder whose hair is longer….

You had a good year - making some great things, girl. Of course, you know I love that skirt, and you made some great socks too.

Ahh, the sewing machine. I have one but never use it… I look forward to seeing anything you can put together :)

Love your FOs! Beware the draw of the sewing machine!! I was totally pulled in last year. I sewed many more things than I knit.

I love sewing. And with the one haircut a year, you do better than I do. If I manage to get my hair cut once every two years, I am doing pretty well.

In my opinion, 2007 was an excellent year for you!! It’s about quality, not quantity, afterall (and frankly - I would categorize your quantity as “impressive” - definitely not pathetic… afterall, you work full time and have a life outside of knitting), and all of your FOs are BEAUTIFUL.

You inspire me to try to be a better knitter!

Thanks especially for the Roman Earflap Hat. It’s my new favorite hat pattern, and has created a hilarious urge for me to put pompoms on everything.
