Okay, so I only saw it once and was a little out of it, but...

Didn't Ginny have a totally kicking hoodie? I mean, I remember thinking before (from pictures) that Hermione's sweater rocked, but during the movie I totally switched knitting dreams over to Ginny...

Now I have to go see the movie just for the knitting. I normally wait until the DVD comes out. But I guess I will have to spend the money. Of course, I will have to find a sock pattern I can knit in the dark to take with me....

I'm really, really glad I'm not the only one who couldn't stop thinking about Emma Watson's wardrobe throughout the movie! I love all of my fellow fiber-folk!

I am so glad you mentioned Ginny's vest! That's the Order of the Phoenix knit that stuck out in my mind. I also admired Hermione's fair-isle sweater, but I thought it was cream, brown and pink. Different people see things differently! Good luck patterning - you're a braver woman than I!

That's a gorgeous fair isle. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

With your dark hair that coloring will look great!

Yeah, I'm totally sad about all the missing knitting. And I think they downplayed the pranks on Umbridge too much.

But there were some really nice knits in that movie. I liked Luna's purple cardi-thing.

I've had the Equinox Yoked Pullover from (I think) Fall '06 IK on my mind lately. I never considered making the body white, but that sweater is gorgeous. Consider checking out the charts on that one if you get stuck.
