eye candy friday

Published by Mintyfresh at 12:01 am under eye candy friday, new york, oddities

today, we’ve got some global warming in effect.

Girl, it is December 14. I don’t care that the high was 60. You just can’t wear a khaki skirt and Old Navy flip flops to work today. You just can’t.

oh cool! a picture of your office! i love these little views of minty’s world. :)

i agree. no bare legs and flip flops (FLIP FLOPS?!) in december. maybe this would be ok if you lived in cancun.

Congrats on the new office! :) Yeah… I’ve seen some pretty *wrong* clothing going into NYC despite the weather!

You sure have a nice view!

I love your new office - it looks like you’re all settled in. How funny to “find” the hole-punch when posting pictures!! I agree, 60 or no, it’s just not right to wear flip-flops in December.

Oooh–I’m so jealous of your huge windows! (Windows in my office=0.)

What a pretty office! I love the windows. I am down in the basement, so no windows for me :( They always put archivists in the basement!

There was this girl in my class that wore flip flops everyday - despite the cold. I just couldn’t understand it. After October, I wear closed toe shoes till March or April!

Thanks for a peak into your world!

    peek… not peak ;)

i will never understand why people just don’t put those flip-flops and summer clothes away come october. if it was that nice out, then maybe a light pair of pants and some open toed shoes, but never flip-flops… and i’m a new yorker! :)

nice office! i have the same chair. isn’t it nice?

Fancy office… you do look very comfortable up there (doesn’t the view make you dizzy?) If it’s not too much personal info, what do you do?

flip flops in the winter, never ok. unless you live in the tropics. bare legs? ok. flip flops, never.

Nice office! And what a view! I’m so jealous…. Although I do have a window, I see some hospital buildings, and if I crane my neck, FDR drive. Dreary.

Wow so merry and bright! I love the view, and the window looks so clean too! You know, it’s a Mom-thing :) I have double monitors, and a big window but we’re not allowed to open our blinds and I’m on the first floor. I look at the guard shack.

    A very fashion DON’T!!!

Swanky office! It is clear that you are very important. Important enough to wear Old Navy flipflops ANY DAY YOU DAMN WELL PLEASE.

I was in NYC in Thursday. I walked from Penn Station to 56th Street - what a gorgeous day it was.

Yep, this guy on my block has been wearing shorts! I know it’s warm, but c’mon. Your office looks startlingly like my old office at the law firm - except I never got a three whole punch or a nice chair from those evil bstrds.

Great digs! Windows make all the difference.

It’s been near 80 degrees in my neck of the woods. It just isn’t right. Flip flop sightings have been a daily occurrence.
