waaah, I can’t go to Stitches

Published by Mintyfresh at 7:34 am under miscellaneous

What are the odds? I move apartments over Rhinebeck weekend; the boy moves over Stitches weekend. And I certainly can’t abandon him for his move after he shouldered most of the burden with mine, to go buy some fiber. Perhaps this calls for a free pass to me to do some online yarn shopping . . .

Not going to Rhinebeck or Stitches qualifies you for online yarn shopping. Moving qulifies you for online yarn shopping. Moving the boy qualifies you for online yarn shopping. Getting a new job qualifies you for online yarn shopping.

Do you see where I’m going with this?

I think that qualifies! Have fun cyber-shopping.

Aw, man! I was going to have a chance to meet you, but the boy is moving? Poopy!!

But yes - that TOTALLY qualifies for online yarn shopping.

I think I am out of the Stitches mix too. Can I online shop for yarn too?

Maybe you should have your own yarn festival next weekend that consists of visiting all the yarn shops in your new city and sampling the wares at each.

You most certainly have earned an online spree. Put on your favorite handmade sweater/shawl/scarf, take your laptop outside and sit under under a tree, get some fried dough, talk to some friendly-looking strangers, and start shopping! Voila, instant fiber festival!

That is a bummer… but it really does give you a pass at some online goodies :)

I have to work that day myself. In fact, I was going to see if you wanted to meet for lunch, but it sounds like you are going to be a little busy! Sounds like a good excuse for online yarn shopping if I ever heard one! Or, you could go check out all the NYC stores now that you live in town. :) Something I really want to do one of these days……
